What a sad day! The skiing part of the ski holiday is over, it's just not fair!Another beautiful blue sky day today, but so cold, only a cool -17 degrees C at village level, I mean freaking hell that is cold!
Went skiing on my own this morning to get to the highest points and to ensure I saw as much of Val Thorens as possible, but thought I'd die in the cold! Nice meal for lunch then skiing with Amanda and Bexs in the pm, after tobogganing was called off after arriving 10 minutes too late.
We then cheered ourselves up with some skiing and Vin Chaud! Lovely Jubbly!

Day 5

It was fiercely cold today, so thermals came out and did a great job too! Headed over to Courcheval with the guys!

Used ski tracker for the first time too, so managed to stat the day up too, which is good! Managed over 100 kph too!

Amanda enjoyed a day on her own too, sadly both our days were slightly curtailed by snow and cloud!

Last day tomorrow! Boo Hoo!

Day 4 still

Another great day in France! A but colder, actually at -12 it's very cold, but there you go, the sun was out and the snow still good!

Took Amanda up higher on some blue runs in the afternoon which went well, she's doing really well so far!

Off for a fondu tonight, cheesy!

Day 3

And although colder and with more clouds in the sky an absolute belter non-the-less!

Headed into Meribel in the morning with 4 of the chaps, then following an aborted meal at the 2 Michelin star restaurant on the basis if cost, it was a chilled afternoon with Amanda seeing her improve.

Finally off to the banging club for a few beers on the hill! Great fun, but got covered in Champagne so smell badly of it now and many idiots on the run back to town!

Day 2

And it was sunny skies and good snow in Val Thorens! Had to change boots and skies early, but enjoyed a fairly chilled morning on my own.

Spent afternoon with Amanda and the new starters, which was really good, as they had all started well and got down some hard greens in the afternoon.

Pub Crawl tonight so we will see how it goes!

Day 1 skiing

Wow what a long day, awake at 2.30am about 15 minutes sleep all day, so very tired now!

Got to Val Thorens fine though and even managed about 30 minutes skiing in the afternoon, with Amanda skiing for the first time, and she did very well!

Anyway off to bed for sleeps now!
