That was a really nice day off seeing the Volcano 'Teida' in the middle of the island and then visiting the Zoo Loro Parque in the afternoon.

Thought it was very good all round. On the bus back to base now, hope it doesn't take too long!

A better sun burn day today

Very little is sore for a change...maybe just backs of legs. Day off tomorrow in an outing then fierce sun worship in Thursday and Friday! Enjoying my holiday so far...very relaxing so it is!

El Medano

Another lively day in the sun...and WIND! It us incredibly windy today!

This morning we walked the 10 minutes or so to El Medano, the nearest town and very pretty it is too!

Lots if Spanish scenes bars and tapas type restaurants!

Additionally with the wind as it is there's a whole bunch of kite surfing and wind surfing going on, including the Czech national windsurfing championships which is a bit bizarre considering it is probably a 5-6 hour flight to Prague!

Anyway

Less sun today, off for walk into town first up, a swim in the sea on the way back maybe?!
