The first ‘shock’ potentially as Japan , a well organised but limited side beat Cameroon 1-0 today. Cameroon ’s manager Paul le Guen made a peculiar decision to play Samuel Eto’o at right-midfield, neutralising his actual strengths. Japan scored a reasonable goal, but it took until the 85th minute for the Indomitable Lions to actually really start chasing the game. A great result for Japan , now need a point potentially against Denmark to progress!
